Next Olympian

We're pretty sure we have an olympian on our hands. After two different swim lesson sessions this summer Alexander has learned to swim on his own. Now mind you, he had two sessions last summer and swims almost every weekend (Thanks Joe and Carline). Yesterday he was practicing at Aunt Meme's and this evening, he swam at Aunt Cha Chi's. He ventures out with his practice arenas of course. You can't get stale using the same venue all the time after all. HA!

He might have a ways to go but we think a gold medal might be in his future.

Today, we went to the fishery and fed the Tarpons a bunch of shrimp. The boys loved it!

Ate lunch with some of our karate friends today. We had 16 seats and 8 of the seats were for one family. 5 kids, a nanny, and 2 parents. Ha!

Friend time

Today is the last day of the tournament and I decided to stay at the hotel with Alexander and offered to keep Nathan. Those boys are so close its scary. Alexander refers to him as his brother! So, we headed to the pool and our friend's smaller kids and their nanny ended up at the pool too so they all played and had a great time. Thankfully a near 2 hour nap ensued before everyone headed back from karate. Looking forward to another fun evening with everyone. One more day in Fort Lauderdale tomorrow before we drive up to Orlando for the rest of the week.

Ricardo's cousin lives in south florida. We met for dinner and of course headed out for some Venezuelan fare. Ha!

Third time National Champ!

There's a new fireman in town!

There was a firetruck at the gas station and the guys were so sweet and asked Alexander if he wanted a tour. He instructed one of them to get in so he could drive him. At least he asked him where he wanted to go.

And the tooth finally fell out today!

Fourth of July fun

Fun at the pool on the fourth with our friends...is there anything better! After we hit the pool we went to Aunt Mary and Uncle Rick's for steak. I even got to try my hand at attempting to pull Nate's tooth. Unfortunately, it didnt work!

Big chair

We saw this chair last night at Menards and Alexander just had to get in it. Now, my child is a big boy...like 42 inches tall and wears a size 12 shoe but he looks like a baby in that huge thing!
