Mel and Krystal spent some on Alexander's Jeep this weekend and made us some welcome home snowmen as well. Must say, the artistry is definitely top notch! Ha!

The real Happy Birthday Beth!

So our birthday dinner for Beth Saturday was really all a ruse. Eli planned a fun surprise for her on her actual birthday and I was trying to help and throw her off. It totally worked! We all gathered last night and had a great time hanging out and laughing and celebrating another birthday for our sweet friend! I think we all laughed so much it hurt, especially at Eli's song he wrote...it made the whole party come together!

Happy Birthday Beth

Saturday night we had our good friends over for dinner to celebrate Beth's birthday. I managed to make a yummy cake and a whole spread of food. The boys ran around like crazies all evening playing with Alexander's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Gear and we sat around and chatted for a few hours. Little Lilly Beth gave it a good go around trying to crawl after the boys but mostly just wanted to eat. That girl can put it away! I didn't even get a chance to take their pictures because they weren't still enough! Happy Birthday Beth, we love you!

Swordsman

Much to everyone's surprise (not) my husband has purchased my child a plastic sword. Now, you might think it was just out of the blue but no, no...well planned it was! Not by age or by skill but by Alexander's new found love of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Alexander's turtle of choice is Raph (Raphael) despite the fact that he does not carry a sword. I think because he's the team's bad boy. Nice! So anyway, my 4 year old is now wielding a sword and is fully immersed into his God given karate talent. All I can say is when you hear your husband say, "you cannot believe the control this kid has...he can get it this close to my face and not touch me", you should be concerned!!!!
