We spent the day at the Newport Aquarium checking out all the fish, crabs, penguins, sharks, and other crazy sea creatures they have like a giant Croc! Hello...river monster! Had a great day with the family!

Weekend with my besties

This weekend my two best friends came to visit. We don't get to see each other very often so our time together is super precious. We try to squeeze in as much talking, shopping, and fun as possible. So, we spent the afternoon hanging out with my sister, hit the mall, had dinner with Teresa's sister, church, then lunch with our friends from church. Then, unfortunately they had to hit the road. I just love these two ladies!

South Carolina or Bust

The US Karate Nationals are this week so Ricardo and his team headed to SC to compete. Some of the families decorated their cars which was super cool. Glad to see everyone is super stoked! 

Boys and their toys

We spent last night with our good friends hanging out, eating, and enjoying the awesome weather. And, our boys had a blast playing with their neighbor kids riding bikes and doing what boys will do best...just being boys! 

Fourth if July and...well, mulberry pie

I'm not much of a baker but we discovered we have several mulberry trees. So, our friend Beth picked some at her mother in laws and made a pie a few weeks ago. I started picking ours and made a pie after I froze two bags full. I have a bit if tweaking to do with the recipe but all in all it was pretty tasty! And festive I might add!
