Kindergarten Celebration

Today was Alexander's kindergarten celebration. We took lunch and had a picnic outside. We got to see him get awards and his teacher had a really great cd for all of us with a very sweet PowerPoint picture show she made. Many of us had tears. Every child win an award named after candy. Alexander's was the gobstopper award for having 'gobs' of ideas. His teacher said he always has suggestions on what to do in between activities. I laughed and looked at Ricardo and said more like taking control is more like it!

We can't believe how big he is and by big I mean physically big. He's the next to tallest kid in his class. We also took some pics of Alexander with his Bestie McKenzie and his other good friend Racheal. He totally ditched eating with us and sat with them and conned McKenzies mom out of a bag of Doritos. Nice!

I hardly believe my little manny will be a first grader next year. Time has flown by!

2 months

From Mia: I turned 2 months this week. That's right 2 months. You might say I'm big now! I wear size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes. I weigh a whopping 10 pounds and I'm almost 23 inches long. My favorite person is my big brother. Even if I'm asleep and you say 'brother' I smile. He's my hero. I love mommy and daddy too but not the same. I think I'm his favorite person too!
