Saturday night we headed down to Conseco Fieldhouse to watch the Big 10 Women's Basketball finals with our friends; Trevor, Kelly, Nathan, Nicole, and her friend from school. We had a ball and had great seats in a free suite from Kelly's work. We shared it with a few other people but for the most part we took over...as usual. We had 3 rows of comfy seats with cupholders and a nice bar with high back chairs that were perfect for hanging out with our friends and watching the kids play. There's nothing like being in a decent sized room with flat screens and a door that's too heavy for them to open so they can't get out. It was like a giant play pin!!! Alexander loved watching the game. He was entranced most of the time by the game and then by the band of course. And, he certainly didn't shy away from watching the cheerleaders either. We all decided that he'd be a cheerleader so a) he could dance and b) he could stick his hands on the girls butts without getting smacked. NICE! The boys had a blast playing with cars and eating popcorn all evening and the girls sat and listened to their Ipods while the 4 of us parents sat around and talked all evening. It was awesome. Not only was it great to have something new to do but we just love our pals...they're such a great family with great values and they love Alexander and we love their kids which makes it even better. Our karate friends have certainly enlightened our lives!
