Alexander's First Christmas!

This was Alexander's first Christmas and he made out like a bandit. First off, Grammy and Grandpy came on Chrismtas Eve to stay for a couple of days and brought lots and lots of presents from Santa and his Great Grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Fisher. Santa had already stopped at their house and dropped off some toys. Grammy bought him an adorable Santa outift and he put that on right after his Christmas bath. He stayed in it until he pooped through his diaper and it had to be changed. hehe. His Aunt Mel and Aunt ChaChi bought him some new Leap Frog and Fisher Price toys that he'll love to listen to and watch for now. He also got some Elmo and Big Bird books and a cute new t-shirt that matches one daddy got. And, he got 4 stuffed animals with Planet Earth DVDs as well. They're only 22 minutes long so as he gets older I'm sure he'll love watching them and learning about monkeys, elephants, tigers, and polar bears.

Ornery Boy

This was a picture taken on Thanksgiving when Alexander got his Leap Frog activity center from his cousin Noah. Noah wasn't too sure about giving up his fun toy and I think Alexander was giving him the look of "oh ya, now it's mine hahaha". We're in trouble!

Berkshire Christmas

Saturday we spent the evening with my family at the carousel near my hometown. It was Alexander's first time meeting a lot of his cousins and aunts and uncles and he had a great time. It was also his first time riding the carousel and seeing Santa.

I AM saying something!

Our little man turned 2 months today. We can hardly believe the time has flown by so fast. We spent the day playing with toys and listening to songs about the rainbow, colors, and numbers in both English and Spanish of course. This afternoon while playing with is Leap Frog activity center he decided he'd start telling me a story and it was so cute, I had to grab the camera.

A Day With Our Kids

Today Ricardo, Alexander and I got to visit my best friend that lives in Fort Wayne (the other one lives in Illinois). Her and her husband have two beautiful kids, Ben and Macy, and today was the first time they met Alexander. We had a great time eating a YUMMY lunch that Teresa made, enjoying way too many of the awesome cookies she baked, and playing with our kids. Alexander was showing off his newly developed skills like; holding up his head, smiling, and laughing. And, Ben and Macy enjoyed coloring with the coloring books we took them. My friend Nicci bought Alexander some adorable clothes and Teresa and I had to utilize the pockets on his sweatshirt and the look on his face was priceless. He just looked at us like, come on mom and Aunt T...I am way too cool for this! We also took some pics of all three kids and T and I before we left. We were amazed at her hubby's photo abilities. hehe

Uh oh my shirt is wet!

Little man had his "high maintenance" shirt on the other day and it was certainly fitting...he spit up and got his shirt wet but thankfully it didn't seem to bother him. Some days are cleaner than others. hehe

Little Talker

We've tried several times to catch Alexander talking but of course we don't get to the camera in time or we're too busy listening that we don't go get it. He's really not "talking" per say but he is certainly trying to say something...we just haven't figured out what it is yet.

Little Sleeping Man

We had pictures taken yesterday at Sears for
Alexander's first month birthday. He was a little too cooperative and slept almost the entire time.

I'm a Champion Like My Daddy!

Ricardo's mom braved the important task of sewing Alexander's first Karate uniform this week and Ricardo could not be happier. Of course Alexander received an honorary blackbelt!

Dinner Out

Aunt Mary and Uncle Rick have really enjoyed getting to know Igsora over the past 2 years so they wanted to have dinner before she headed back to Venezuela. We all went to the Cheesecake Factory and had a ton of fun eating, laughing and talking (in two languages).

I Love My Puppies!

Alexander has something to say this time...
Grammy Fisher bought me these cool strap covers with puppies on them and I just love how they are so soft and keep me warm.

No need for a do not disturb sign when mommy and daddy use these bad boys!

I get cuter by the day!

A Fun Visit

This past weekend one of my best friends and her family came to visit for the weekend. She hadn't seen the baby yet so she really seemed to enjoy getting her baby fix. During the visit her three adorable kids sat at our kitchen table and colored and made pictures to hang on our fridge and her and I had a chance to sit and gab which doesn't happen very often as those of you with kids understand. Our husbands had a chance to sit and talk politics and seemed to enjoy some adult converstation as well. We just love it when they come and visit...it doesn't happen nearly enough!

Hey Grandpa!

My dad and Peggy and came up for a week to visit and see little man. He wasn't in a very good mood during the picture and dad was incognito with is sunglasses. haha

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Monday was Ricardo's 31st birthday. Of course our day was spent going to doctor appointments and he had to work so it wasn't too exciting but he did certainly enjoy having a birthday spent with his new son (and his lovely wife - LOL).

Just Like Daddy

Daddy loves that his little man has a brown coat just like his!

Headed to the Major Leagues

Grandma Igsora bought little man a baseball outfit and brought it from Venezuela. Ricardo is just hoping one day he'll head to some big team...perferably some world karate team but he'll take whatever. hehe
