Happy Father's Day Daddy
Ricardo's favorite thing in the world is spending time with his family...especially his kids. We are busy people and travel a bunch so when we get weekends together it's a pretty cool deal for us. We thankfully spent the whole weekend together and got to see our friends and family several times. When Father's Day rolls around each year I'm reminded of how great a dad Ricardo is and how much I appreciate him as my husband. No, it's not always perfect in our house but we have fun, love each other, and try really hard to instill Christian values in our kids. I'm so thankful that I have a husband and father to my kids that wants to live life in such a special way!
Dedication Sunday
Today was parent/child dedication at church. It was super nice to have our families there to celebrate us dedicating our kids and our family serving Christ.

3 months today
I'm three months old today! I am getting bigger everyday. I love my big brother tons and tons!!!! I also love to EAT! I sleep really well at night...sometimes all night which makes my mommy and daddy really happy.
Another tooth bites a flip flop!
Many of you know how Alexander's right front tooth 'fell' out during a bought with his dad's flip flop. Well, in a strange but hysterical twist, the left front tooth also met the same fate but with my flip flop. No, it wasn't a funny attempt at scaring me like it was with Ricardo; it was actually a purposeful bite on my shoe. Not kidding! I said out loud, 'this is extremely unconventional' but it turns out, it works! Gross but true!

Best friend fun
I have been blessed to have two wonderful best friends since I was probably 4. We grew up together, were churched together, and had lots of adventures like college, weddings, kids, and even family deaths together. While the miles keep us far apart most of the time we're lucky to live in a world where we can communicate daily via electronic means...unlike when we went to college a few years ago(ha). Our lives are busy and our worlds are quite different but we always have our wonderful love and friendship and time has seemingly stood still when we're together. Thank God for the gift of friendship!
Weekend fun...
Hosted an adult only karate party Friday night. These folks are not only a lot of fun but provide hours of laughter and a challenging corn hole game. I said life is always better with good friends, a cold beer, and jello pudding shots! :)
