Another day of karate...

Today was our spring internal tournament. All of the kids and adults did a fabulous job. Our friend Chris and I were running the show at the scoring table trying to keep things straight. Non one ever said working for your husband was easy. Chris and I were having a lot of fun mouthing off to Ricardo and Cha Chi behind their backs. hehe. Quite a few of the students received their official Green Belt certificates which is a huge accomplishment. In June, Ricardo's Sensei will be here to sign all of them which will be a huge honor. Everything went really well and we had a great turn out which of course included some family members...Aunt Meme, Grammy, P, Mitch and Angie all showed up to support the school and kids. Afterwards we went out to eat with a large crew...table for 24 please! Mel, Mom and Steve headed back to our house for coffee and to relax a bit after lunch. Alexander was putting on our shoes and walking around the house being silly. Aunt Meme taught him how to mimick the buzzer on the score board which was a total hoot. Next post, I'll have to video that one and show everyone.

Driving

My kid loves to drive...thankfully our good friends let us use this little car. He drove all the way to the school, around the school and back home. He actually believes we'd let him drive to the karate school. Um...no.

Waiting for DADDY

Ricardo went to Cali last weekend for karate training. Alexander could not wait for him to get home and he finally ended up perched at  the front door waiting. So sweet!

Saturday at the zoo

Mel and I took Alexander to the zoo on Saturday which was a lot of fun. My kid is the 'feel it out' type so he was pretty straight faced the entire time and wanted to move to a different exhibit every few seconds. We ended the visit by checking out the new bat exhibit which he thought was super cool!

Our RC Day

Ricardo left for Cali today for karate training so Alexander, Mel, and I headed to RC to see the fam. We had an awesome day eating our fav foods and playing at the park. Alexander had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa that he asked when we go home if we could go back to mamma and pappas. After we left RC we headed to Kokomo to eat dinner with the parents. Loved our great day!

I walked out in the living room today to find Sonny hanging out in Alexander's tent. So cute!

Birthday fun...

Today we celebrated Uncle Rick's and Steve's birthdays. We had tons of fun and kid free. My good friend Paul and the rest of the fam joined the fun.
