Baby Shower

This weekend my family had my baby shower in my hometown. My two best friends came, along with my aunts, cousins, some family friends, and of course mom and grandma. We had a great time and we got so many nice gifts. Thankfully Lori and Teresa had their cameras because mom, ChaChi, and I all forgot our cameras. Lori sent some of the ones she took and I have a lot on CDs from the disposables mom and I took. I'll be posting those later this week.

We had the shower at our old church which brought back memories to those of us that grew up going to church in that building. Melanie had to go up to the old nursery and put on some of the costumes that are up there. We got a huge laugh out of that for sure. The best part of all was the hideous Winnie the Pooh slippers Teresa bought the baby. For those of you who don't know I cannot stand Pooh so Teresa and Lori just had to play into that and get me something. I'm just thankful it wasn't a Pooh quilted diaper bag...the quilted diaper bag, another baby item I cannot stand! What are best friends for???

2 Month Comparison

My friend Amanda and I had our pictures taken yesterday here at work so we could compare our pictures that were taken a couple of months ago. The belly's are a growin'!

Who doesn't love the fair?

Last weekend the fam got together and toured the state fair. This has become a tradition over the past few years...get together on a Saturday morning at the State Fair, eat, walk around, look at the animals, eat, look at more animals, eat, sit down and watch the people...oh is that the funnel cake stand. You get the drift. This year of course was a little different since it appears I am carrying around a basketball under my shirt. Mom and Steve proudly sported their respective grandma and grandpa shirts to the fair to show them off.

We thought last week I was 32 weeks but after a doctor visit on Friday, the doctor measured me at 34.5. We're going to have another ultra sound next week to determine if I'm just big or whether they were wrong on the due date all together. Given how long he already is and the fact that he's already "assumed the position" I'm guessing we'll have a little one in September and not October. Today we bought more diapers just in case.

31 Weeks

Ricardo took some pictures of his handy work (no pun intended) this weekend. He painted letters for over Alexander's bed. He also took pics of my 31 week belly. It's getting HUGE!
