Saturday Night Fun

Yes, that's Ricardo molding something from Playdough! If you've never played it, go get the game Partini. Seriously, it's the most fun game ever. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time. I mean, at one point our friend Eric actually laughed so hard he snorted cheesecake out of his nose!!! Great food, great friends, great fun!

Thanks to our friend Eli, Ricardo and I have been reading a book called "The People Code". I highly recommend the book for a lot of reasons but the main reason being it really helps you identify personality traits and how to deal with them. I’m a Red…even if you don’t know what that means, those you know me probably aren’t surprised by the color. Anyway, given my red color, I’ve been a bit validated by the read and feel even better about who I am and the personality I’ve been given. That’s not to say I don’t believe I have work to do because I truly think I do but overall I am quite comfortable with who I am. I found this quote today on Pinterest and I love it because it really speaks to me at this point in my life.

“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”
E. E. Cummings (American poet 1894-1962)

Alexander and his kindle

I had to take this picture of Alexander playing his Kindle. He looked so sweet laying there!
He loves his new Kindle from his P and Grammy. If you have kids don't waste your money on any other tablet because this one is great for kids. No, it's not an iPad but for $200 less, it will certainly do the trick. I'd recommend getting an Amazon account if you don't have one and paying the $4.99 lifetime Kindle Free Time subscription. Totally worth it!

Another day of sledding

We headed out to our friend Eli's moms today to sled and four wheel. The hill we ended on is called Demon Drop and I can tell you it's huge and slightly scary! So fun to hang out with our pals today. We love them and are so thankful for their friendship.

Happy 2013

We started off New Years Eve with sledding and ended it with lots of yummy food, drinks, and great friends. We headed to our good friend's house last night to hang out and ring in the new year. We played a few games, ate entirely too much food, and finally made it home about 1:30am. Never a dull moment for the Guerreros! And, never a day should pass that we don't remember how truly blessed we are by good friends and good health. We have a healthy and active son, a good marriage, super great friends, blessings of family, and a God that is always good! Happy New Year everyone!
